Have you always wanted to learn Spirit Portraiture but convinced yourself that you couldn't draw?
Perhaps you've admired the work of others and wondered where to begin.
This three-hour beginner's workshop has been specially designed to remove the fear and uncertainty often associated with portrait drawing.
Using charcoal and graphite pencils, students will be guided through two approaches to portraiture. First, you will learn how to create a technical lined portrait using simple facial proportions and structure. Then, you will explore a more relaxed and expressive approach using quick, confident marks.
This combination allows students to discover which style resonates with them while building confidence in both observation and artistic expression.
No previous art experience is required.
A materials list will be provided before the workshop, and all exercises are explained step by step in a relaxed and supportive environment.
